Tradescantia Zebrina, aka Silver Inch Plant, Tradescantia pendula, or Tradescantia Tricolour, is probably the plant you think of when you hear the word Tradescantia since it is often seen in gardens, planters, and houseplant collections. The clusters of purple and silver striped leaves, along with the trailing stems, create a beautiful display in hanging planters. Handle your plant carefully as its fleshy stems and leaves can break easily.
