Thevetia Peruviana tree, also known as the lucky nut tree, is a small, evergreen shrub native to South America. It is a hardy, drought tolerant plant that is not affected by low temperatures and can tolerate a wide range of soil conditions. Thevetia Peruviana grows to a height of 2 to 5 feet and has a spreading, round shape. The tree produces an abundance of yellow or orange flowers that are followed by fleshy, yellow-green fruits, which are 3 to 4 inches long. The bark of the tree is gray and rough and the leaves are dark green with pointed tips. Thevetia Peruviana is an excellent choice for gardens, patios, and other outdoor spaces.
