Care Guide

Place your Philodendron Congo in a spot with plenty of bright, indirect light; it tolerates lower light but grows best and shows richer colour in brighter conditions, away from harsh direct sun. Water when the top few centimetres of soil have dried out, keeping the soil lightly moist but never soggy, and reduce watering during the cooler months. Use a well-draining, airy mix and a pot with drainage holes, and never let the plant sit in water. Wipe the leaves occasionally to keep them glossy, and keep it away from cold draughts. Light feeding during the growing season encourages strong new growth.
