Pennisetum Little Bunny (Dwarf Fountain Grass)
A charming dwarf variety of Fountain Grass, Litttle Bunny quickly forms a small hummock of green foliage topped by large numbers of small, buff coloured fuzzy flowerheads from mid to late Summer, they move and sway in the breeze. They look rather like small rabbit tails from where the name comes.
These useful little plants are perfect in groups as tactile ground cover, use them in a prarie planting scheme or in containers and they also fit perfectly in the front of any sunny flower bed, whether you choose to mix them with other grasses, or flowering perennials they will look great.

How to grow Pennisetum alopecuroides Little Bunny
Position: Full Sun
Foliage: Deciduous grass, foliage turns brown in Winter, fresh new foliage emerges in spring.
Soil and site: Any well drained soil.
Flowering time: late Summer
Growth rate: Moderate
Ultimate height and spread 40cm x 40cm.
Hardiness: Moderately Hardy
Aftercare: Water regularly after planting and through the first season until established. Cut to ground level in Early Spring.
