Care Guide

Place your Medinilla in a spot with plenty of bright, indirect light, away from harsh midday sun which can scorch the leaves. Keep the soil lightly and evenly moist, watering when the top layer begins to dry, and never let the plant sit in water. It loves humidity, so mist regularly, group it with other plants, or place it near a humidifier, especially in air-conditioned rooms. Keep it away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes, and trim spent flower stems to keep the plant tidy. Light feeding during the growing season supports flowering.
