Care Guide

Cushion Moss thrives in bright to medium indirect light — avoid direct sunlight as it will dry out and bleach the moss. Keep the moss consistently moist by misting regularly with water; it should never fully dry out but should not be waterlogged either. It prefers high humidity environments, making it ideal for closed or semi-closed terrariums. In open displays, mist daily to maintain moisture. Use filtered or rainwater where possible as moss is sensitive to the minerals and chlorine in tap water. Keep in a cool to room temperature environment away from heat sources and air conditioning vents.
