The Scotch Bonnet is a legendary Caribbean hot pepper, instantly recognisable by its distinctive bonnet-like shape and vibrant colour. Packing serious heat with a uniquely sweet, fruity undertone, it's a staple in hot sauces, marinades, and bold cooking. Grow your own from seed and bring Caribbean fire to your kitchen garden.
Sow seeds indoors in small pots or seed trays using a well-draining soil mix. Germination takes 14–21 days at warm temperatures (25–30°C) — Kuwait's climate is perfectly suited for outdoor growing from March through October. Transplant seedlings to larger pots or directly into the ground once they reach 10–15cm, choosing a sunny, sheltered spot. Water consistently but allow the topsoil to dry slightly between waterings. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 2–3 weeks during the growing season. Expect ripe fruits approximately 90–100 days after transplanting.
Each pack contains 25 seeds.
