Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Light: Lucky Bamboo can thrive in low to moderate indirect light. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves. A bright, filtered light is ideal.
Watering: Keep the roots of the Lucky Bamboo submerged in water at all times. Use distilled or filtered water to avoid chemicals from tap water that can harm the plant. Change the water every two to four weeks to keep it fresh.
Container: Lucky Bamboo is often sold in containers filled with pebbles or decorative stones. Ensure that the roots are covered with water, and if the water level drops, add more to maintain the appropriate level.
Temperature and Humidity: Lucky Bamboo prefers temperatures between 65°F to 90°F (18°C to 32°C). It can adapt to normal room humidity levels, but it benefits from occasional misting.
Fertilizing: Lucky Bamboo doesn't require frequent fertilizing. You can add a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer once every two to four weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or eliminate fertilizer during the dormant period in fall and winter.
Pruning: Trim yellow or damaged leaves with clean scissors or pruning shears. You can also control the height and shape of the plant by cutting the stems at the desired height.
Disease and Pests: Lucky Bamboo is generally resistant to pests and diseases. However, if you notice any signs of pests or mold, address the issue promptly by cleaning the affected areas and, if necessary, using an insecticidal soap.
