Hoya australis Blondie is a charming variegated Hoya with soft green leaves splashed and edged in creamy gold, produced on vigorous twining vines. Fast-growing compared to many Hoyas, it rewards patience with clusters of sweetly fragrant, star-shaped white flowers. A beautiful trailing or climbing plant for bright shelves and hanging planters.

Care Guide

Place your Hoya in a spot with plenty of bright, indirect light; a few hours of gentle morning sun will enrich the variegation and encourage blooming. Water when the soil has mostly dried out, as the fleshy leaves store water and the plant tolerates short dry spells. Use a well-draining, airy mix and a pot with drainage holes, and reduce watering during the cooler months. Avoid removing the long vines, as new growth and flower spurs emerge from them. Light feeding during the growing season supports healthy growth and flowering.
