Introducing the Drosera scorpioides — one of the most uniquely structured sundews in the carnivorous plant world. Unlike its flat-rosette cousins, this Australian native grows in a dense, upright bushy mound, its stems packed with glistening golden tentacles that catch the light like tiny stars. Each sticky gland is a trap in disguise, luring and capturing insects with effortless elegance. A rare and rewarding plant for collectors and curious plant lovers alike.
Care Guide
The Drosera scorpioides thrives in bright indirect to direct light — a sunny windowsill or grow light setup works beautifully. Water exclusively with distilled, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water; tap water minerals will damage the plant. Use the tray method, keeping the pot sitting in a shallow dish of water at all times to maintain consistent moisture. Never fertilise — the plant feeds itself through its sticky traps. In Kuwait's dry climate, placing the plant inside a glass terrarium or on a humidity tray is highly recommended to keep the tentacles glistening and active.
