The Dracaena Marginata is a tropical evergreen tree with long pointed leaves, grass-like blooms, and a single stout trunk. It is a popular houseplant with a low maintenance requirement, making it easy to care for. Its subtle stripes can be seen on each leaf and it is a perfect addition to any home.

1. Water thoroughly but infrequently. Allow the top of the soil to dry between waterings; then thoroughly water until water runs from the drainage holes and discard all the excess moisture from the plant saucer.

2. Keep in a bright, indirect light spot. They will need several hours of direct or bright indirect light a day to remain full and healthy.

3. Mist your Dracaena Marginata with room temperature water to help raise the humidity around the plant.

4. Feed your plant every two to four weeks with a balanced indoor plant fertilizer, such as a 10-10-10 fertilizer. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application rates and methods.

5. Keep the temperatures in your home between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

6. Remove yellow or dying leaves as soon as you notice them as they could be a sign of nutrient deficiency.

7. Prune Dracaena Marginata by pinching off the tips to encourage fuller growth.
