A slow-growing, evergreen ornamental palm-like plant known for its stiff, glossy dark green fronds arranged in a symmetrical rosette. Cycas revoluta has a strong, thick trunk and a very architectural form, making it a premium choice for both indoor and outdoor decoration. Although commonly called a palm, it is a cycad and highly valued for its durability and long lifespan.
Growing in Kuwait: Well adapted to Kuwait’s climate. Performs best in bright light and tolerates high temperatures once established. Prefers well-drained soil and does not tolerate waterlogging. Extremely hardy and low maintenance, suitable for long-term planting.
Care – Outdoor: Place in full sun to partial sun. Water moderately and allow the soil to dry slightly between watering. Very tolerant of heat and requires minimal maintenance once established.
Care – Indoor: Keep in bright indirect light or near a sunny window. Water sparingly and avoid overwatering. Ensure good air circulation and keep away from direct air conditioning.
Use: Ideal for indoor spaces, office lobbies, villas, entrances, terraces, and outdoor landscape projects. Commonly used as a statement plant, focal point, or in decorative pots.
