Bambar Tree - Cordia Myxa - شجرة البمبر

A hardy, medium-sized fruit tree known for its broad green leaves and small edible fruits commonly called bambar. The tree has a naturally spreading canopy and a strong trunk, making it both ornamental and productive. It is traditionally valued in the Gulf region for shade, fruit, and cultural importance.

Growing in Kuwait:
Well adapted to Kuwait’s climate. Thrives in full sun and tolerates high heat once established. Prefers well-drained soil and regular watering during the early growth stage; mature trees are relatively drought-tolerant. Minimal pruning is needed to maintain shape and remove weak branches.

Use:
Ideal for outdoor gardens, farms, villas, and landscape projects. Commonly planted as a shade tree or fruit tree and suitable for large pots or direct ground planting.
